From the top of the Graciosa Island
Beatiful blue water, from about 400 meters above sea level. |

Whaler´s Alert!!
This is called the "Whale Island" because of it´s shape resembling a whale. Up where I´m taking the shot, used to be a whale watching spot, to alert the whalers about the presence of game near the coast. They will hunt for food and to sell the fat as a mean of mantaining their economies, now there is a light house next to it. |

The prove I was there....
A 20 minutes of steep climbing, it was worth it! |
Natural swiming pool
Exploring around you can find breath taking, virgin snorkling sites, just for you! |

There I went
A little cold for me, but there I went, to explore underwater life, I regret not taking an underwater camera!! |
Hiking for the shot
A 2 hour hike to hit the higest mountain top... only for the shot! |

A colder day
Had to seek for shelter when caught by the rain, this is inside a huge crater since this is a volcanic island. |
Is the sign really needed??
I guess that some tourist didn´t have his brakes tuned up once... |
